OANDA Introduced New Trading Program: OANDA Labs Trader
Abstract:OANDA has introduced a new innovative trading program called OANDA Labs Trader, which offers profit-sharing opportunities.

OANDA Global Corporation has unveiled OANDA Labs Trader, an innovative trading initiative cantered on profit-sharing. The program is open to residents of countries served by OANDA‘s Global Markets division, authorized and regulated by the Financial Services Commission of the British Virgin Islands. It offers private investors and self-directed traders the unique opportunity to become signal providers on a profit-sharing basis for OANDA’s proprietary trading business.
Prospective OANDA Labs Traders need to undergo an assessment via a trading Challenge, a demo environment enabling them to test strategies and skills with virtual funds before unlocking the profit-sharing aspect. Kurt vom Scheidt, OANDA's Chief Operating Officer, emphasized the program's goal of facilitating smarter trading for clients, empowering adept traders with streamlined access to global financial markets across various asset classes.

Traders accepted into the OANDA Labs Trader program gain access to an account and share in the profits they generate after passing the assessment. OANDA's proprietary trading models incorporate signals from OANDA Labs Traders, alongside other variables, to inform market positioning decisions. While OANDA's capital is at risk, the program requires traders to demonstrate their ability to generate profits and manage risk through a qualifying assessment.
Despite the virtual nature of the capital provided in the OANDA Labs Trader account, participants are entitled to a share of the profits generated. The program grants traders access to OANDA's technology and market relationships, offering support to leverage their trading skills in creating profitable signals. This initiative aligns with OANDA's commitment to enhancing its proprietary trading activity by incorporating valuable signals from Labs Traders into its trading models.
